Delivery and privacy

What we send

The English edition is normally delivered every Monday and Friday at 8:30 JST. Each Japanese issue has a corresponding English edition. Any temporary pause or schedule change will be stated clearly.

Your account

Your private My Page link lets you change your email address, switch between the Japanese and English editions, resume delivery, or cancel. Keep this link private because it can change your settings.

Registration data

We use your email address, optional name, language choice, consent record, and delivery status only to deliver and manage this newsletter. We do not sell this information.

Images and sources

Archive photographs, contributed photographs, and generated illustrations are labelled separately. Generated images are not presented as evidence of historical events. Factual information is accompanied by a source and checking date whenever practical.

Public beta

The public beta is free. If a paid edition is introduced later, its terms and start date will be shown in advance and will require a separate decision from each reader.
